Shades Cahaba Winter Festival

Come enjoy the fun on February 20, 2016, from 12-4 p.m.!

Donohoo Auto is proud to sponsor the Shades Cahaba Winter Festival this year on February 20th from 12-4 p.m.! Each year, the Shades Cahaba Elementary School PTO puts on a day of family-friendly fun for the kids and the local community. The Shades Cahaba Winter Festival is the school’s annual and only fundraiser and a very important way in which parents, teachers, members of the community and corporate sponsors come together to provide the resources that allow Shades Cahaba to expand the opportunities it offers our children.

Proceeds from previous festivals have gone toward projects such as:

Technology – 64 Chromebooks with carts for our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades to be used to enhance our teaching and learning

“Money for Musicals” – funding for the kindergarten, 2nd and 4th-grade musicals

Special events throughout the school year such as GrandPals Day, Owl Prowl, Spirit Day, New Family Dinner and Kindergarten Popsicle Party

MLK Service Day Supplies – this continues to be a well-attended service day on our day off

Teacher assistance for classroom supplies and grants for special classroom projects.

Summer Reading Bags for the EL students (English Second Language)

In addition to being a corporate sponsor, we stepping up our game even more. If you bring in our ad from the Winter Festival Sponsorship booklet, present it to us during your test drive, we will donate $25 dollars to Shades Cahaba Elementary from February 21st-February 29th.
