How to Buy Online

During the era of the internet, we have become hyperaware of how our time is spent. For example, we could eat breakfast in the morning, browse Amazon, buy with a click, and have whatever we bought delivered in a day or two. Unfortunately, all of these advancements make the traditional car-buying process feel very archaic.

We can purchase almost anything else we want online, and we can do it from the comfort of our homes. So the idea of going into a dealership to kick the tires and negotiate with a salesperson sounds about as appealing as stubbing all of your toes to see which one hurts the most.

The good news is there is a better way.

Very Empty Lot

While it may seem like some sort of normalcy has returned to the automotive industry, that isn’t exactly the case. There are still numerous supply chain issues and lopsided demand, so most dealers are still hurting on inventory. That could spell problems if you are looking for a specific vehicle but if you are patient you might find some excellent deals out there.

Test Drive Header

In this blog, I will talk to you about how to approach test driving at a dealership. I want to talk to you about that because there is a lot of misinformation about what matters and what does not. I will try to tell you what to focus on so the whole process is an easy and enjoyable experience.

The first step is to figure out when you will be test driving. In most dealerships, you can walk in off the street to test drive the car you are interested in, but your time is important. That is why we encourage customers to set an appointment. At Donohoo Auto, get the car pulled up for you and have everything ready for when you arrive. It makes the whole buying process function better and allows you to focus on essential things, like driving the vehicle.

10 Things You Shouldn't Buy

I am a tech geek, and I love buying things to make my life easier. However, I don’t want to tell you how many robot vacuums I have at the house. It would be embarrassing if you knew.

This blog post isn’t about the crazy items I like to buy but is about the crazy things some dealers try to sell you. This blog will talk about some of the “hidden” items dealers try to sneak in on a purchase proposal and how to handle it. Tesla Full Self Driving

Tesla just had its first AI day, and it left a lot to be desired. That isn’t to say the technology is not impressive. On the contrary, their AI and data gathering systems look top-notch and are something to be lauded. The problem I have with it and the same problem others have, what does it allow the driver to do instead, and who is ultimately responsible for the vehicle?

Tesla, GM, and all auto manufacturers with self-driving assistants are either Level 1 or Level 2 autonomous driving. Someone somewhere came up with this handy level system to categorize self-driving tools. The levels are:

Working in the car industry, I have been asked more than a few times about electric vehicles. The questions usually center around the theme of, “Do you think electric vehicles will replace gas vehicles?” and “Why is everyone so excited about electric vehicles?”

3 Series Specials

Jul 23, 2021
BMW 3 Series

The first generation of the 3 Series was only available as a 2-door coupé; however, the model range has since expanded to include a 4-door saloon, 2-door convertible, 2-door coupé, 5-door estate, 5-door liftback (“Gran Turismo”) and 3-door hatchback body styles. Since 2013, the coupé and convertible models have been marketed as the 4 Series; therefore, the 3 Series range no longer includes these body styles.

The 3 Series is BMW’s best-selling model, accounting for around 30% of the BMW brand’s annual total sales (excluding motorbikes). The BMW 3 Series has won numerous awards throughout its history.

The M version of the 3 series, M3, debuted with the E30 M3 in 1986.

Our 3 Series inventory has a wide selection of colors, prices, and mileage to choose from. Click the link below to see more.
